Investment Philosophy

I believe that the market is not efficient. All investors do not have the same information, and the price of a stock does not always reflect its true value. I believe that superior research and attention to detail do lead to the identification of strong, well managed companies that reward owners with greater than average returns. I believe that mutual funds do not provide greater safety than individual stocks and they certainly do not provide a better total return. An investment manager should know the client and every client should be able to sit and talk with their adviser, not just a clerk that sold a mutual fund. I believe that you do not always get what you pay for and that investment advise is usually too expensive. I believe that honesty and good judgment are hard to find. Too many people claim to have special insight on the stock market when in fact, no one can predict the future. I founded Palmer Capital Management to meet the comprehensive financial planning and investment management needs of others with similar beliefs.
